The Dive Shop caters for scuba diving enthusiasts with underwater visibility of 15 meters and sharks to find and turtles to swim with. Snorkeling equipment and canoes can be rented here. A karaoke room for those who like to share some light singing section with families and friends. An
Internet area is available from 7am to 11pm and wireless access
point allows one to surf the Net from the beach and rooms. Charges
are RM4 per 15 minute block. Travel reservations for airlines and railways can be done online 48 hours before travel. Bus tickets can be purchased at the Reception which also provides telephone, laundry, money changing and information services from 7am to 11pm. Electric kettles, Mosquitoes nets, beach mats and flashlights can be rented from the Reception. There is no doctor on the island and mild cases can be treated at the Village clinic by the state registered nurse, severe cases have to be taken to the mainland by ambulance boat. Simple over the counter medication is kept in the First Aid Box at the Reception. Be careful whilst swimming among the corals especially at low tide, many visitor has been cut. |
